Traditional local restaurant with Franconian cuisine including pork knuckles, marinated pot roast, potato dumplings, Schnitzel and traditional homemade cold cuts as well as smoked ham accompanied by a well selected choice of drinks (Franconian beer and wine, local soda and much more...)
It's a shame that you can only see the current menu on Facebook.
Very tasty and friendly priced the killer 👍😎
Very nice inn with delicious Franconian cuisine, nice service and homemade sausage for your own snack or as a gift!
Also as a tourist a real insider tip for good regional Franconian cuisine! The meat is from responsible (pasture) husbandry! The sausage products are also a good recommendation and a nice souvenir :-)
Very cozy Franconian restaurant. My favorite in Kulmbach. The food tastes great, always comes quickly and the prices are very reasonable.
Outstanding. I had schnitzel with fried potatoes last Friday and it was very good and a large portion. The team is really good at that
Quaint inn! Special Bavarian cuisine. Very attentive, friendly staff! Highly Recommended! Almost too cheap for the delicious food and drink.
Very good food. Friendly service. The farmer's smoke is highly recommended !. A path that is worth it! Always my pleasure!
Grilled knuckle was dry, the beer sauce was a strange flour sauce that didn't go well with the dish and didn't taste good either.
Very decent Franconian lunch. The beef roulade was excellent, and the children's schnitzel and the vegetable schnitzel were very tasty. The two waitresses were super friendly and nice. If there was one little thing to "complain about", then at most the sauce for the roulade. Could have been a little finer. But all around very tasty and friendly. Recommendable.
The service was very good, but the food was rather poor. The dumplings were overcooked in my opinion.
Nice atmosphere and good, classic cuisine.
Everything was great, good cuisine, nice service, ample portions and cheap
Eat underground. Sauce for roast venison tasteless. Sauerbraten you could eat meat however tough. Roast coachman doesn't knock your socks off either. Rokohl boiled over and the food carelessly slapped onto the plate. Never again.
Great food , with very friendly service , very economical pricing . Worth a visit more often
Very good cuisine and nice beer garden. The meals are prepared by yourself. In the Angus cattle, the farmer from whom it is obtained is also on the map. Service very friendly. We will be back. Recommendable.
It is always a little difficult to rate negative. But the fact is that, given the current situation, you can serve yourself better cuisine. There were three of us there last weekend and we had Cordon Bleu (beef roulade was offered by FB on that day, but was not available) and my companion Peppercorns. The salad that was offered had brown edges in many cases, but the taste was acceptable. My schnitzel folded with ham and cheese 2 stars, potato salad 4 stars. You can still "steak" or knock schnitzel. But I felt like supermarket goods of the size. 4 pieces = 500 grams. But fried in the pan. Unfortunately, my companions had the absolute flop. A pork loin in about 1.5 high slices had the second dead. Say they were tougher than my schnitzel. There was also a complaint and one portion was deleted from the invoice. The reason for my rating was the sauce for the loins. I also had it today, only 50 km away, with pork knuckle and tasted so boring, unless you caught a peppercorn. This means that it is not home-made food and is unfortunately not worth a second visit. Only tastes are different and I give my opinion here.
very delicious Franconian cuisine as you imagine it. Good portion size and great value for money. Highly Recommended!
Friendly service, very good food, price performance (portion size) was right. Highly recommended
It tastes SO good, I would like to put myself in one of the pots !! We were allowed to celebrate our wedding here. The subtle table decoration, the menu, everything was a dream!
The inn is a bit off the old town. This is located in a restored and very tastefully decorated historic building for this region. A visit to a beer or a delicious dinner is always worthwhile! It does not always have to be the big brewery. The Seelöwen is more than an insider tip and therefore a top address in Kulmbach!
Good Food and bier at good price!
